Their first date was on a train — and so was their wedding, at 125 mph

Leah Anderson and Vince Smith from Surrey took a Great Western Railway train from Wokingham to Reading for their first date in 2016. It went well: their first kiss came on the journey back, also on a train.

Eight years later they returned to where it all began: they married aboard a GWR Pullman dining service travelling from London via Reading and Cardiff to Swansea at about 125 mph. Ceremony, a three-course meal and 14 guests — all on the move.

Sometimes the best place for a date is the journey to it.
